I was so pissed off by the staff of mobile store bit I still want to switch my current pay & go price plan to a new one which would probably cost only one fifth of my current one, so on the 20th this month, I went to other stores at a different district.

At the first store, the staff said they didn't had this service unless I switch from other networks.
"But I know someone actually did that and I just asked at another store a few days ago and they said they could do it."
"Um... we don't have this service anymore."

At the second store, the staff also said if I switch a price plan I will lost all my credits.
"But I heard you did the transfer once a month and the last time was on 15th or 16th this month." I tried to be as much specific as I could as I wanted to prove I was not making unreasonable request.
"If we switch the plan for you, you will lost all your credits."
"But I asked at another store before and they they can."
Maybe they are the only store can do this...because we count on them to do the switch too." I thought it was more reasonable to be done by the back office but not the store itself.

I went to the third store and they still said they couldn't do it.

So my previous post was basically what'd happened next.

I explained two times what I wanted before actually reached the counter and being asked again. I asked the staff if there was the only store can do this transfer and they all gave me a no.
"It is the computer system do the transfer, every store can do this."

After explaining I was neither from other networks nor wanted to switch to a monthly contract, they finally understood what I wanted and I still got turned down.
"We do this transfer once grouped a number of application, about once a month, but I still don't know about when is the next time on this month so I can't apply it for you now. You have to come again later."
"It's once a month and normally at the middle on the month, I know this month is done on about 15th or 16th. Can I apply it in advance? I know someone applied it at late September and got transfered at mid October."
"Middle of the month? I haven't been told that. Not even on our briefing book. I can't apply for you now because I have to submit the application form as soon as it's filled but I can't write the transferring date at the moment. It's easy a job, just done by the computer system, don't even need to switch the sim."

*Sigh* If I don't apply in advance, how can you "group" the application form? What if I come next time and you say this month is done again? I know it's easy and that's why I was there.

I heard that you can still use the phone's functions except those needs network service like calling so I took the sim from a very old phone and plugged it in this new phone. Last night I was playing around with the wifi, picture, etc functions and I tried to set the PIN. I couldn't get the right old PIN and after three attemptions it was blocked by the PUK. I realized a got into a big trouble when I got the wrong PUK three times. It said "Contact your network provider to get the PUK" so I phoned the customer centre.

"I got a very old sim of your network blocked by the PUK, is there anyway I can get the code?"
"What's the phone number?"
"I can't remember, it's long time ago."
"Can you use it to call a number?"
"No, cause it's expired. (And of course not, it's BLOCKED!) But I see a code on the sim, can I use it to check the PUK?"
"Sorry, it is the system uses the phone number to check."
"Then can I bring the sim to your store to check it?"
"Yes, have a try."

So I brought the sim to the store today and I was worried that it isn't that easy.

"Did you use your name to register the sim?"
"This is pay & go."
"I see. When is the last time you use it?"
"Long time ago, probably five or six years ago."
"Five or six months ago?"
"No, it's five or six YEARS ago."
"FIVE OR SIX YEARS ago? Then it's no way to check it! Why don't you just get a new sim? You can't make phone calls with it anyway."
"Because I want to use some functions like calendar or calculator of a phone that don't need network service but still need a sim."

I regret to tell her the truth as I found she thought I was a weirdo and wanted to cause her trouble and actually I was not.

"Why don't you get a new sim? You can't even remember your number!"

I realized she'd never understand what I wanted, so I ask,
"So there's no way to unlock it?"
"No way." (I bet she was thinking "Go away you weirdo!")
"I see, thank you very much."

Her long face made me even forget I wanted to ask for transferring my another old pay & go sim's credits to a new price plan which only costs one fifth of my current plan!

I want to use that old sim because the company name on it is no longer exist that is value a lot, and simply, it's my old sim.

I know I shouldn't of guessing the PIN for three times in the first place.

So glad that I attended this reunion. We looked at the old photos in his room talking about the old days and the current news of those who weren't there. I looked at his primary two class photo and asked,"who's this? So cute!" And that was my crush a year later(primary three)!

We also had dinner and played some games together. It was the happiest moment in these few years. Couldn't believe I was even thinking about not going to that dinner before because last year's reunion was so weird!

When I was in primary school, I never thought the naughty guy sitting behind me would drive me home ten years later!

I had a really good time. Glad to stay alive, life's so amazing!

I was quite quiet that night that I needed some time to warm up. My old mates seemed could read my mind even I hardly spoke anything.

When they were ordering at the restaurant discussing with the waitress whether to have a medium rare steak, I was thinking "...I want a well done...", then one of them asked me "can you handle a medium rare? You haven't said a word and look scared!"

When they were discussing what to do after the dinner, I was thinking "It's already past 10, when are they going to finish?" They asked me "you can't stay late at night?" I was so disappointed when they decided to not to go to the house of one of them (I've seen the photos of his house and it was really beautiful), they asked "you look so unhappy, how about we arrange other time to go?" After we arranged another time to go to his house, they said "you are much happier now, right?"

I suddenly found my mind is so easily read. Maybe because my secondary school and college mates don't pay much attention on me or don't act on it even they know what I was thinking. More than 10 years ago we were classmates and I was really glad to see them again.

The arranged day is coming but I haven't heard from them since then...Do we have this one more reunion? I don't contact them because I don't want to appear too desperate to go to his home!

I have a friend don't talk to me now. When I call, she doesn't answer or call back. When I text (I don't usually text, I love hearing the voice of my friends. When I text, just because I have no other ways to make a direct contact), she doesn't reply. When I see her and give her a hug, she acts normal, but when I ask how she is doing, all she says is her phone is broken (dump excuse!) and would get a new one soon and give me a call then. When I talk to her online, she goes offline. She was my high school classmate and in these two years, whenever we have a reunion, if I was there, she wouldn't come. If I wasn't there, she would be there. I thought it was a coincidence, but now I can hardly believe it is the case.

I wouldn't forget when I lost my best friend 5 years ago, she was the only one to lend me a shoulder to cry on and passed me the tissues, and said whenever I need a friend to talk to, she was always there. But now...

I love her so much but I feel really uncomfortable to call someone who even doesn't want to talk to me as "friends", she added me on the list first. I was not there for adding a number on people's "friend list" to show off. I sent fer a message on the site and got no reply.

I know it must be me when this happens to me twice. But I can't figure the reasons out when they don't tell me. Why can't you just be up front to tell me the truth? Why you have to pretend to be friendly when we see each other?

It's a really hard decision but it is what I feel right now.

We have mobile phone that allows us to call or text people whenever we want. We have instant message that we can chat with friends whenever we are on the computer. We have social networking sites that let us keep contact with everyone we know. I remember how said I was when my best friend moved out of the town 15 years ago. Such technologies haven't get into my life at that time and we couldn't contact each other anymore.

I thought it's really great when I first came across the social networking sites and I met some of my childhood friends who I lost contact there. But few months past, I realized it was only my dream that technology can solve this problem.

How many of your contacts on your mobile phones, IM, and SNS really contact you? Those people I met again after 10 years barely talk after a greet when I first saw them. I suddenly realize it's the same, with or without such things.

Maybe when people are eager to keep in touch, difficulties don't really matter. When you don't care, you just don't no matter how easy it can be.

Most people think comparing with some Middle-East or Muslim countries (no offense here), we have much more freedom. I just have the thought of the opposite.

For example, I saw some Middle-East high school girls wore trousers under their dress uniform. I knew the girls were no allowed to wear dress or skirt only. They don't have the freedom to wear dress or skirt but how about me? All the students need to wear uniform in my high school which is a dress for girls. No one did that before but I'm quite sure I was not allowed to wear trousers under the dress unless I could offer medical or religious proof.

In this perspective, we all don't have freedom or we don't have more freedom, we just have different culture or life style.

That day I saw a little girl using a computer at my department. Those computers are supposed to be used by students or staff of our department only. The computers require a login account in order to use them so I thought this little girl was one of the students' private tutorial student and was being asked to do some work there. I wanted to use a computer and all other computers were occupied. Many teaching staff came across but no one tried to stop her. I had a thought on "scared" her away but didn't bother.

I saw she was writing an email and I was curious about who would exchange emails with a little girl. I remembered when I was at her age, I even didn't know what an email was. So I walked closer to her and tried to have a glaze on what she was writing. After I'd figured out the first few sentences she had written, an associate professor appeared. He put his arms around this girl that looked like I was going to do anything would harm her. Then I recalled this girl was his daughter who I've seen before. His brought her away soon.

The thing is, the associate professor taught me information security and ethics before. He really disappointed me. Obviously, he lent his account to his daughter to use our computers. Did he think it's absolutely good for security or ethical? I can't remember how many times he said employee are not supposed to use work place's computers for private purpose and this act is misusing bandwidth which is paid by the company, so it is unethical!

Maybe I'm just paranoid but it really annoys me!

How come everything I say at such situation are all wrong? I never intend to mislead anyone and I am quite confident about my thought when I give people instructions. But they just turn out like that.

Almost every time I give instruction about direction is wrong. I pointed the wrong direction even on a map. Once a man asked me where a classroom is at my college, and I said, "we don't have a classroom named this." That was my second year at that college and just a few minutes later, I saw a big instruction to that classroom written on the wall.

Today in a lift at a shopping mall, I stood in front of the buttons and there was a men told me he wanted to go to the second floor. We finally found that lift could not reach that floor but it was to late to get out of the lift. He looked so confused so I told him not to use other lifts but the escalator. When I was in another lift to leave that shopping mall, I found that lift could reach the second floor. The point is, I've been that shopping mall more than five times in these two months, but now I am not sure the escalator can reach the second floor!

I'm so sorry about that, please forgive me and don't hate me.

Maybe I should not say anything in such situations anymore.

Hope the escalator can bring him to the second floor. I'm going to check this next time. Anyway, he probably has found the lift there and thinks I am a bad person. So sorry, I just wanted to help you out.

I don't know when did it start, I hate taking photos. I turn around my face whenever I see a camera. I didn't take back the photos which were taken on the school photo days. I didn't even have my graduation photo. I never get back any photos I take with my friends since the digital cameras are used (They just send the photos back to me or upload to the internet to let me download them).

I hate when I see my photos were on the internet that almost everyone can see them. I try my best to ask people to delete them or stop posting, but it still happens. When social networking sites and online photo albums are get more and more popular, I found my photos that were taken ages ago were on the internet recently. Honestly, I've thought my photos would end up like that when they were taken.

You know, sometimes you just take some stupid photos under pressure. I hate when my photos can be seen by the whole world, I hate when people can easily know what you've done, you've been by looking at the pictures, although I know most people have no interest to my photos.

Why would some people let the whole world to see their pictures? If you like, it's all your business and had nothing to do with me, why can't you just upload your own photos or ask for others' permission in advance? How difficult can do some privacy setting on your pages be? The law just said, photos taken personally are not expected to be publicize. After all, it's something call "privacy".

And can you avoid taking photos? Probably not. And can you avoid keeping all your photos privately? How can you refuse when your company post your photos at the office or campany site?

When it became illness when you concern about your privacy?

Life was a lot simpler when internet is not that common.

People always say new lives give hopes. Actually, the "hopes" are just for the others but not the "new lives" themselves. So I think the nature of lives are totally for contributing to the world.

We eat, sleep, do exercise, etc are just for us to live longer as can contribute more to the world. Living objects have the instinct of wanting to survive but we don't have the instinct to contribute to others. That's why there is something called money.

We work for money{hopefully as well as interest, but I guess at least if you don't get paid, you won't work as hard as now). We need money to survive. But we contribute to the world through our work. Like trees, they produce oxygen through the photosynthesis just for surviving. But oxygen is exactly what the world need. We work for ourselves and ends up we help the world. That's what I think how the world works.

No matter how meaningful you make your life be, it's just the same process at the end. I know I've got this thought just because I don't love to be alive. But I think this thought is so true even I think about it objectively.

I did have a period that totally left this thought behind. Which is I was being with my past best friend (who I mentioned in another post before).

What I want to say here is the way to make people love their lives is make yourself really into something. Most of time is people or hobbies.

It is because people will pay effort on lowering the negative effect to avoid the life being destroyed by the policy. The outcome of a policy is somehow more positive than it really caused. Sometimes I want to "scarify" myself in order to let the government(or other administration unit) know how a bad policy influences on people. But I just don't have enough guts.

Blogs, Social networking sites, photo albums, homepages, forums are widely use by many people. Some people love uploading photos or videos to the internet. But I wonder some of them just upload others images without having their permission. When everyone can read or see the pages, I concern whether people's privacy is protected enough.

I suggest that people ask others for permission before uploading images to the internet or mention activities which contains others' name in the internet.

Fashionable people criticize others being outdated.
Tidy people criticize people being untidy.

We all trying to be good, but we all have different standard on defining "good".
